| So i am done with my first week. I think that the next three years are going to be pretty intense, but i know i will learn alot. I have like three hundred pages of reading for Tuesday, and the second years told us we need to do most of it. Next week i get to start all the labs, we have labs on Tuesday and Wednesday and lecture on Mondays and Thursdays. I only have four classes, but if you fail half of the tests then you fail that class, for instance in one class i have three tests, so if i screw up on one i HAVE to do good on the other two. Failing is anything under a 75%, so i have to know my stuff. which is a good thing as i will be having to use this stuff for the rest of my life. Brandon and i are also putting the hardwood floors in this weekend. tomorrow actually. i will definately put some pics up once we are done. Also, if you wanna see any pics from the wedding i have a few of the unprofessional ones up on my facebook. Well, i better get crackin on the books!! lol... wish me luck!

| So my first day of class went well! i meet tons of new people and they were all nice. I have already made many friends. We start actual classes tomorrow, these past two days have just been orientation. I am the only person from the south of Kansas that is attending in my class. Most are from Colorado, Oregon, and Washington, so they are dying in the heat. I can't wait for tomorrow, i am sure i won't be saying that in a week. There is a TON of work and it sounds like we will be at the school all the time. I am looking forward to it and i will keep you updated. HOpe everything else is enjoying life as much as me. | | |
| SO this weekend has been a LONG one. I was supposed to get my laptop from IBM i think on THursday at the latest. Well Friday at noon i had still not recieved it, so Brandon called to see what the problem was. When he called the guy told him that the computer i had ordered was on backorder. So brandon asked him, why two days prior we were told that there were nine of them. They guy said he didn't know, and told Brandon there was a comparable computer but it was $200 dollars more, after a one and a half hour conversation Brandon finally got that computer for the same price as the previous one. Problem solved.... or so we think, it was supposed to be overnighted and arrive here on Saturday. On Saturday at 4:00, still no laptop, so we call them AGAIN... we are told it has been shipped using FedEx. We ask for a tracking number and they can't find one... odd huh. SO we get off the phone after being assured that it would be here on Saturday (Sunday at the latest) FedEx doesn't even deliver on Sunday... We call FedEx and explain to them the problem they ask for our address and inform us, there are no delieveries scheduled for us. SO we call back to IBM after a thirty minute arguement (us saying that haven't shipped, them saying they have) they tell that the computer we ordered is sitting in their Indiana warehouse. Well we told them that this was a problem becuase i need a laptop on MONDAY at 7:30 for school... and Indiana is pretty far away. SO we cancel the order and head to Best Buy... WE find a better computer at Best Buy and buy it yesterday! =) So i have a laptop!!! finally... I was having nightmares about showing up at school and not having a laptop seeing as how they are required at the first day is all about how to navigate the schools system and getting their network on our computers and such (i would have looked pretty silly)
So today brandon and i went and bought the hardwood floors and tile only to find out that our credit card wouldn't be accepted (thank goodness we have another one) The IBM people have charged teh credit card TWICE total of $4000 dollars... so it put a dent in our spending limit considering we really did buy a laptop with the credit card yesterday... AHHH i am so frustered with IBM (CDG-W, the company that was selling it to us) But we do have teh hardwood floors and the tile and we will install it next weekend and then i will have some pics for everyone!!
Brandon and i went to an ice cream social with my school tonight. I am very excited but also very nervous about my first day tomorrow. I hope i make friends and understand everything!! THis is like worse than the first day of school becuase i have no idea what to expect. I will let everyone knows how it goes tomorrow, but wish me luck!! =)

Well, i have to unpack today, becuase i have been taking a break the past few days and today my laptop comes and i know i will wanna play with that! soo toodles!!!
| So i promised an update... =) The honeymoon was so beautiful and alot of fun. We left OKC at 4:30 AM to get to the airport by 5:00 for our 6:00 flight. But it wasn't too bad, we got to the resort around 1:30 and it was beautiful. We got checked in right away and we escorted to our room, but not before we were given rum punch to drink. It was delicious. The room was gorgeous as was the entire resort. I will be putting pics up on facebook, hopefully sometime next week. Brandon and i took a nap for the rest of the day as we were exhusted, but then we went to dinner and played at the casino night, which was a blast. The next few days we relaxed laid out by the ocean and slept in hammocks, went to the pool bar, and even got a massage at the spa. It was s much fun! Then we went into Cancun on a jungle boat cruise, where we drove our own speedboat through the ocean, to a snokling point. It was pretty, but not as colorful as i thought it would be. Then we went back to the resort. The next day was favorite as we went to a Mayan community and were able to go ziplining, snokling, tubing, to a Mayan ceremony, and on a 3 mile bike ride. Afterward, the people in the Mayan town cooked us lunch, it was delicious. The next day we went shopping woo hooo and we spent almost the rest of our money... (we had to put the parking for the car at the airport on the credit card) lol.... Then it was back to reality, where going out to eat costs money, you can't just call room service for chips and salsa, and you don't have people waiting on you hand and foot. W
When we got back to the condo, the airconditioner was messed up and it was 107 degrees in here, so we went to Brandon's parents to stay. The next day we opened wedding gifts and cards, it was so much fun and we LOVE all of our gifts. Then we came back to condo. brandon and i started unpacking and after i while i thought that floor in the hallway was kinda wet. So i looked up and i saw a huge bubble in teh ceiling, so i touched it and a water started dripping really fast, so brandon got a bucket and cut the bubble open and water came pouring out. we figured out it was the airconditioner, so brandon climbed up in teh attic and found a lose pipe, it tightened it and the water stopped leaking, but we still called the air conditioner guy to come fix it. He did and now it is a nice 76 degrees in here!
This week i have been unpacking and yesterday i got the kitchen and living room all DONE!! plus we repainted the living room and i like it much better than before. Today i am going to go and get my name changed so i can become Mrs. Brandon Wagoner officially. Then Brandon's mom and i are going to a pampered chef party and we are going to hang out with Brandon's parents until Saturday afternoon at which time we are coming aback to the condo to try to unpack the bathrooms and bedrooms and hang the rest of our pictures. SO we have a busy weekend, but i am looking forward to NOT having to unpack things for a few days! Well, gotta run...
